Maple Ash Character Study
For the City of Tempe, Arizona
 

      
KGA assisted the City of Tempe,
      Arizona with a character study and evaluation of potential regulatory
      options. The Maple Ash neighborhood is one of the city's oldest
      and most verdant, yet there is not a consensus on how properties
      should be improved over time. Different code and regulatory options
      would each offer pros and cons for identifying the elements that
      define neighborhood character so that changes can be compatible
      and ideally serve to enhance the neighborhood. KGA teamed with
      A DYE DESIGN on an approach that emphasized neighborhood character
      and community involvement.
